"I have been at TTU Energetik since the beginning, where we started developing a new quality management system. Recently, we have started to renew the technological park, and we have purchased several computer-controlled machines in order to expand the range of services and products as much as possible," explains Mirza Sinanović, Head of the Technology Department at TTU Energetik.
The new CNC machines will speed up the production process, shorten production times and help the company be more competitive in the market. In addition to renovating the plant, TTU Energetik is also investing in staff training, all with the aim of offering products to the market outside the Elektroprivreda concern that will rival global brands.
"We have certified one engineer for testing welded joints using penetrant and ultrasound methods. We are moving forward, we will introduce new standards for welding and we will certainly continue to train technologists and engineers in the coming period," says Amir Zulić, director of TTU Energetik.
One of the workers we found in production today is Osman Bundić, a former TTU donor since 1980. "I've been at TTU Energetics since February 15 and I'm satisfied with the way of working, because everything is almost the same, it's the same principle of work, it's the same job. You know how it is, it brought me back to the old days when TTU used to work in three shifts. Today, the younger generation is coming, there is work for everyone who wants to work," Bundić claims.
At the beginning of the year, TTU Energetik signed two contracts and seriously started working. Thus, a month before the agreed deadline, the delivery of rake conveyors for the needs of the brown coal mines "Zenica", "Breza" and "Kakanj" was completed, and today the delivery of finished belt conveyors for the mines "Zenica", "Breza" and "Abid Lolić" has also begun.
"We have already reached a situation where the products are ready for delivery to the mines, taking into account the fact that the very beginning was extremely difficult for us, given the conditions we found when we arrived at the company. Today we are in a situation where we are working at full capacity. This is a truly great success for us, and when I say "we", I mean the entire team," says Mustafa Avdić, Executive Director for Technical Affairs at TTU Energetik.
