“Tvornica transportnih uređaja energetik d.o.o. Tuzla” is a leader in Bosnia and Herzegovina mechanical engineering and one of the largest manufacturers of continuous transport machines in the Balkans. It is a company without conveyors, production in mines today is impossible to imagine, and belt conveyors "TTU energetik d.o.o. Tuzla" are irreplaceable in energy, mining, process industry and industry in general. The Transport Equipment Factory Tuzla was founded way back in 1936 as a Mechanical Workshop with 14 workers who performed the maintenance of equipment at the Saltworks and salt wells in Tuzla, as well as mining machinery in the pits of the Moluhe mine.
In the past almost nine decades of its existence, TTU has gone through numerous transformations and organizational changes, but has also recorded constant development. Thus, TTU has grown from a small workshop into a modern factory that, with its innovative solutions, in addition to its own, has enabled the intensive development of mining, industry and energy in this area. Following the Decision adopted at the Assembly of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo on September 8, 2016 and the Decision adopted by the shareholders of Rudnik mrkog uglja Banovići d.d. Banovići at the meeting on October 10, 2016, the conditions were met for signing the Agreement on the formation of the company Tvornica transportnih uredija energetik d.o.o. Tuzla, whose founders are JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo and Rudnik mrkog uglja Banovići d.d. Banovići. JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d.-Sarajevo enters into the establishment of the company with 80% ownership, while 20% of the share capital will be owned by RMU Banovići d.d. Banovići.
Based on the former giant TTU energetik d.o.o. Tuzla, it exceeded all expectations and in a short period of time became a respectable company with a clear vision to REVIVAL THE METAL INDUSTRY!
